I took Vista off of my PC and put XP on, now im having Internet problems?

When i replaced Vista With XP because Vista sucks.... i didnt have the driver installed for the ethernet controller... so now when i try to access the internet i cant... and i have looked left and right for drivers on the web but can not find any... any one able to post a link or help me out with finding the driver?

It is a COMPAQ Presario SR5250NX

Intel Pentium Dual Core ProcessorE2140

320 GB harddrive

With 1024 MB/Mo

Not sure if that is enough information to help you guys out... but i have been away from my Online game for to long and i need all the help i can get!!!

vista doenst suck. You need the right hardware. You can say compaq sucks for building a computer that makes vista suck. I use vista and it works great. I will say your pentium dual core sure sucks. Upgrade to a tru dual core. Maybe a core 2 duo or a amd dual core. Then vista will fly. Also with your 1 gb of ram. It should be a least 667 mhz. Or even better 800 mhz. Vista needs alot of ram.
