| i know hibernation uses disk space, but what i wanna know is does that disk space come back when you turn on your computer, like it says i need a certain amount and if i do that will the amount of disk space be gone when i turn back on my computer.... is there a sleep button on my windows xp laptop |

| It will create a file called \HIBERFIL.SYS which is going to take up as much space on your hard disk as the amount of RAM your computer has. This is because when hibernating, all your computer's physical memory is dumped to a file so that it can be started again when you turn your computer back on. This file will only go away when you disable Hibernation. |
