Default My windows xp key doesn't match the key on my hard drive

I had an acquaintance try to fix my pc due to a virus issue. While they fixed the issue, it seems that they at the same time installed a counterfeit version of windows xp on my pc. It doesn't match the windows xp on the sticker on my hard drive. What can I do? Windows let me download any updates or anything.

google "magic jelly bean" and download it, it will allow you to view your current key and change it to whatever you want
