Well, just like all operating systems; Vista is expanding more each day with their updates. The only problem people complain about with Vista is that it takes a little more RAM to run than XP. At the same time, take a good look at the evolution of computers. You used to get a computer that only came with 512MB of RAM standard. Now a days, you're getting at least 1, if not 2GB of RAM as the standard.

On top of that, if you've ever used Vista; it's graphics are esthetically pleasing to the eye.

Some computer retail stores still sell computers with XP Pre-Installed. If anything, try looking at some online computer stores (such as newegg.com).

Other than that, you might as well go out and buy a nice Vista laptop. Then, if you still want XP; just buy an XP installation CD (while they are still out there) and just install it over Vista.

However, be warned. It was predicted that by the year 2013, Windows XP will be extinct.
