system takes long time to boot windows xp why? its core to duo can any one help me i tried various options didnt work any tips frm reg,bios

Do you by any chance have something connected to your computer. iPod, printer, flash drive? That could be what slows it down.

You should list what options what you have tried so far. I am assuming that you did a disk defragment already for starters.
