Have a Macbook, Family has a PC on Windows XP, We share a network...How can

I moitor the pc on my mac? Tried to get as much of the question a I could but I'll clarify. I currently own a Macbook and work on it up in my room with wireless. The family PC is downstairs and is hardwired to the modem so we share the same network. I was wondering if there was any way to monitor what was happening on the downstairs computer from my room. Live would be nice but even if it's a keylogger that would send me reports, it would be fine. Thanks for the help. Also, free or purchased programs would be fine.
