 How do I get Direct X 10? I have vista, and a 8600GT? I just had to re-install vista, I just installed Call of Duty 4 and when I try to play it it says I need Direct X9. I have Vista, shouldnt it say I need Directx 10? and Anyway, how do I get which ever one I need?      |

| maybe the game is not compatible with dx 10. you should get a patch or update of the game. you can get dx 10 or 9 in microsoft site. you got vista it comes with dx 10. and windows update your pc if available. and download the newest available videocard driver in nvidia.com. |

| DirectX 10 should have come with your Vista upgrade or install. Goto Microsoft Update and run it. Also, you should go to the Microsoft DirectX Home and run the detection software there. Just read the web page and you will see where to download the installer. |

| COD4 doesn't use DX10. |
