Trying to bridge connections in vista?

On my pc i have 2 etherenet ports so i plugged my xbox into the one that was not in use. When i did this i had to enable the connection in vista. I enabled it and then as soon as i enabled it i got this message http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r311/bigd0991/error.jpg?t=1208082874
I have tried restarting my modem, disabling re-enabling them, restarting my computer, unplugging both replugging just my pc in and nothing has happened still get the same error. The only thing i havent tried is going to the properties and entering in ipv4 and ipv6 ips manually and the only reason i havent done that is because i dont know what to enter. Please help id rather not reformat right now
thanks but right now i want to fix the interent problem that my pc is having lol i could care less about the xbox cuz i dont have to have it on xbox live right now but i really need to get on my pc instead of using this mac. thanks though i will use that when i get this problem situated.
