| The font sizes, icons, etc. on my monitor (I use Windows Vista) appear much larger than they should be. How do I reset this? I didn't see an option in the display settings. |

| Go to the Control Panel, and go to Control Panel Home (not the classic view). Then go to the Ease of Access Center, then click "Change the size of text and icons" under 'Make things on the screen larger'. Check to see if it's set to a larger scale. Is the text larger throughout your whole computer, or just when you're using your web browser? If it's just the web browser, go into its settings and fix whatever setting is doing it (it depends on what browser you're using). If it's your whole computer, it could be that your screen resolution has changed without you realizing it. To set it back to your monitor's proper size, go to the Control Panel, then under Appearance and Personalization, click "adjust screen resolution" and drag the scroller to the right and accept. |
