Default Will Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Server start automatically after...

...booting without logging in? In Windows Server 2008, do you actually need to be logged in in order for Active Directory Server to work? In other words, if I just turn the server on, and do not actually log in , will the Active Directory server start automatically? Would the same go for other Windows Server 2008 services?
Thanks,
Dan
Also, does anyone know of a good reference site for Windows server 2008?
