Default Folder Monitoring Windows Home Server and Mac?

Hi i have setup a windows home server in my loft, my server is being used to store media files and backups, i use a Mac G4 running 10.5.4 OSX Leopard as my main computer in my house on this computer i keep local copies of all my music and pictures, what im looking for is a way of setting either systems to monitor my music and pictures folder on my mac and i want it to when detecting edits and changes or new files added that it will make the changes to the relevant folders/files on the server. please help many thanks
