Default How to install Windows Server 2008 on Windows XP using a virtual machine?

Hi!

I would like to install MS Server 2008 on my MS Windows XP computer by means of virtualisation. Basically I want to create an VM instance under XP, install the server and use it as a "sandbox" for testing.

Has anyone done this? If so, what VM software did you use?

Many thanks for your answers in advance!
If this is possible with VMware, which program do I need exactly (VMware Player, VMware Server or VMware Workstation etc.)?
