Car window markings, Family name and age window writings. Is it just me or are...

...people stupid that does this? Well, I use to see a lot of family vehicles with window markings of the family in stick figures with the name and ages of all the members and I was like that is the stupidest thing I ever saw. Cause I was thinking, if I was a rapist or something, all I would have to do is look at the windows of all the cars and see exactly how old, what gender, and what everyones name was on the car and follow it. I mean doesn't people think of these things? I dont know, Maybe im just cynical and paranoid but it seems like a bad idea to me lol

nope i totally agree with you, that its makes you an easy mark and puts your whole family at risk of a predator by doing such a ignorant thing. there are alot of follow-home crimes, would a single woman put up her little stick figures with no man in the window? so someone can follow them home? What a horrible thing to do to your family.

Call me cynical, but I see it as no more comparable to people who put a departed familly member's name on the rear window "In Loving Memory"......and I think, it is the same as imprisoning the persons spirit (soul) on the vehicle's window. The family, will not be at peace.

Rapists probably have other ways of finding their prey. You are not looking at the whole picture that these things represent. Usually it is a sign of pride of someone's family. A symbol of individuality.
