 How do I make the Windows ME setup continue? I am trying to reinstall Windows ME on a computer and it finishes copying file and restarts, and then it goes to a black screen. I have left it for hours, but nothing. What do I do? Don't tell me to get a new OS. I'm fixing someone's computer, and believe me, if it could run XP, I would have already recommended it to them. Must I repeat myself? It cannot run XP. It has 128mb of ram and a processor so slow ME has trouble running on it.      |

| Create a boot disk Delete the existing partition Create a new one and make it active Then format it. Then load WindowsME then upgrade with XP. When it upgrades it will ask you to convert partition from Fat32 to NTFS Fat16 - floppy's Fat32 - win98, winME XP and Later NTFS |
