Default Windows MEdia Player....PLEASE HELP ME! :(?

I have a burned CD of a video that i have made for school. When i go to My Computer, it is there but i want to know how can i put in on to Windows movie Maker? i tried going to import video, then to my computer, and clicked on the CD thingy but nothing would work! Please help me? What Should i do!?

When i dragged it in, it said

"The file C:\Users\Alvin\Documents\My Received Files\CD Drive - Shortcut.lnk cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again."

what DO I DO@??!

Cool, download and install K-Lite Codec Pack 4.2.5 Full from http://www.free-codecs.com/K_lite_codec_pack_download.htm
It should solve your problem.
One side note: your video must have a format supported by WMP.
Good Luck!
