Default Can I add a plug and play driver to windows 98?

I tried to connect a pen drive to my computer and it detected it but then said the driver doesn't support the pen drive.
So I have pictures and stuff I want to download from the pen drive.
Can I get the updated drivers for the windows 98 with the AMD processor.
Sure I could go buy another computer but that takes money for which I don't have.Right now Im lucky just to beable to afford the internet service.
