Default Does any one know how to shell gameex in windows 98?

because i can't find any ways of doing it. also my version of mame32 (.109) does not work, when i run the mame32.exe it says

"this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the progam vendor."

Does any one know how to fix this. I am Running on windows 98se.

btw when i click additional datails on error it says this

I fixed second part of question by reinstalling
