My dog jumps out of windows can any one help me?

i have a collie cross from the dogs home we don't know any of her past but recently she has started to jump up on window sills and out of open windows i would really like to train her to stop because we live on a busy road the only other option is to keep all of the windows closed but our House gets very hot i would like to know if anybody had any good ideas to stopping her or if anybody has been in the same situation and found a way of training it out of her.

put screens on if you don't have any and if you do have some screw nail them in. anytime she jumps on the window sill make her get down so that she will learn that she is not allowed up there. something else you can do is put like plastic fencing on the inside of the windows until you get her trained. if you watch cesar millan or check the website i know that he dealt with a dog that was doing something similar.
