 How can I configured my Conexant Soft Data modem with SmartCp to work with Ubuntu? Modem - Conexant HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP Ubuntu distro - 8.04 Hardy Heron Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Please! I know that Ubuntu doesn't come with modem drivers built in, and I'd like to know exactly how to install them. Right now i'm using my Vista OS to search and download the files and it's pretty aggrivating (dual boot's pretty handy though). I have no better connection option and can only use dial-up.      |
