Default how do I get my back/forward keys on my MX900 to work in firefox?

Bluetooth wireless mouse by Logitech. The keys to scroll back or forward in a browser don't work for Firefox, but they work for IE.

I had the same problem with my MX1000. In the setpoint software set both buttons to 'Other', click 'Select Function' and select 'Generic Button' for both the back and forward buttons.

I know it sounds crazy but it works.
