Default What does a red line on my CPU Graph mean?

It's on the task manager graph of the CPU.

Default

you have show kernal times ticked in the view option on the task manager

the kernal is the core of the operating system it is what the operating system does on the most basic of levels

you may see in most cases there is a correlation between kernal times and cpu usage
