| I was looking at a laptop today at Best Buy and the guy was really trying to sell me on having them optimize and give me a restore disk for $150 extra dollars. I assumed I'd just add/remove the bloatware I didn't want, but he basically called me dumb if I do that. He went on about how Best Buy goes into the registry of said bloatware and deletes it clean and forever. Is there really a difference, or is this guy yanking my chain? Am I not just as capable as the next guy to remove said bloatware from a laptop? Or do I really need a Geek to do it for me? |

| That guy is just tryin to make more money. You can easily go into the add/remove programs and get rid of the junk yourself. |
