Default Brand new iMac 20" giving me blue screen of death on power up?

Everything migrated over to it just fine. Then I tried to network the computers together so they could share files easily. It didn't work. So I turned off file sharing on the older computer (the one I'm on now) and I tried to on the new one but everything on the screen was unresponsive and kinda loopy. The time machine had lost its circly thing around the clock, there were a lot of weird symbols under the wireless network scrolling thingy. Nothing would open so I had to manually shut it down. When I started it back up, there was an apple on a gray screen followed by the twirly thing underneath it, then the flashing blue/light blue/gray screen of death. Help!!!
