easy.

macs can now easily run windows as well as max osx. so you can have one computer, a mac, that runs both operating systems and all software.
windows machines can only run windows.

also, macs are better designed, better looking, less susceptible to viruses and much cooler. there's really no reason to buy a PC anymore.

there is no reason anymore. use what your professional environment uses. if you where living in Argentina, you will be lost with a PC. if you are in Music industry your better with MAC most common soft. are for PC.. if its about performance. just sped the same money on a PC and you will get same performance or better. stability. MAC has one point because years of a more stable OS but that depend on what you install. because there is Way more trash software for PC.

I would say Mac has better software, such as Safari(browser), which runs better then IE 7 on Windows XP if you get the Windows version of Safari, you can get Office Mac which has Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Safari all the way, first of all try Safari on Windows, you can download the Windows version off of http://www.apple.com/safari/download/, it is so much more faster in loading pages, on Windows, and is safe since it doesn't use Active X which is used by IE to run various feature on websites automatically, and can be used by virus and spyware without your noticing.

By itself the with a Nvidia Geforce 8600(Mac Book Pro) or 8800(iMac) series card, or an ATI Radeon 2600 HD Pro card, it's fast 2.4 to 2.6 Ghz, or 3.30 Ghz Processor, and 3 GB of RAM, it cannot run games. You would have to run Windows XP either through BootCamp which is a free partioner that allows you to boot either XP or Mac OS, or you can use VMware to run Windows in the background, and still run Mac OS X, but for both you need a copy of XP.

I would say PC is more more upgradeble which makes it more unstable and slow due to all the drivers, needed to run it.

I would say Mac is better overall, all it just needs is a few game developers to create or port games to it.
I would really by a iMac or a Mac Book Pro, you will find you just need to get used to it, but it is more well rounded, and tuned to using all it's hardware efficently.
Have a nice day
Ken
